Take Two...

Ahhh... Greetings from the work place... (zzzzzz...)
I had the chance a little while ago to pop a movie in my laptop but my pickings were very slim. So I had all of one movie to pop in the DVD player. It was a sequel to a classic movie. Slap Shot 2: Breaking the Ice.... wholly smokes... it was bad... or should I say, wholly CRAP! One of the worst sequels I've ever seen. It's without a doubt the most brutal sequel of all time. And I've seen some awful ones... for some reason, Caddyshack II pops up near the top of the list. Mighy Ducks 3 is about in the same boat. So it got me thinking... what's the worst movie sequel you've ever seen. Most sequels aren't that good to begin with... But there are some good ones... Like the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises. The "Lord Of The Rings" trilogy was alright too. But there have been some real lemons... And I was wondering, what's the worst sequel that you've ever seen... Hope this finds you in good spirits and a grateful mindset... Have a great Memorial Day! And to all who have served, and those that sacrificed and those who survive them... Thank You so much and God Bless you... We are in your debt.

I think I'd have to say all those "Rocky" movies... can't imagine WHY they just kept making them.... over and over and over and over.....

Mik- I thought it was sacreligious (SP!) to see such a sequel! I've not seen it- and a good thing too. I'd prefer to think of the Hanson Brothers say things like "Hey coach! Wanna play?" Yeah, the language is rough, but talk about a classic! I need to rent that sometime when the boy is sleeping! Anyway, there's a lot of bad sequels- but the ones that come to my mind end in like the double digits- like all those Halloween, Freddy and Friday the 13th junk! God Bless you Mik!

Hi Mik, Well I think yesterday was the anniversary of when STAR WARS came out. My youngest is still a fan. I never saw them..
On Trivia Mania I ALWAYS miss questions pertaining to your music and some shows. I am great a definitions though.
We do not have a Memorial Day up here but I rented "Taking Chance" and I was profoundly moved by this "based on true story" and I felt Kevin Bacon did a good job.
My thoughts at the end were that not many "Vietnam veterans" would have had the same respect.
Although this was is not popular like Vietnam the velocity of disrespect to the soldiers is not there.
I never realised you are my son's age Mik.
Love and blessings
