OKAY... what is worse? Mayflies swarming on a few trees? or Hockey fans in Vancouver being Canuckle heads for burning cars, looting, and just out and out stupidity. Hey, at least in Miami they didn't trash the place because D-Wade and LeBrick couldn't shoot a basketball... Just finishing up my winter sports fix for the summer! Seemed odd to say but I digress. It's summer so it's time to endure the mayflies for the next few weeks here on the lake. Before beautiful weather without swarms of pests takes over. Hope all of you dads have a good father's day and for those of you that are sans offspring enjoy it anyway...

I have heard some mentioning about Canada and the hockey games. That was terrible.
We used to see a lot of mayflies when we fished a lot.
Thank for asking about Ken and me. We are about like usual old folks that we are. We have been doing a little geocaching hiding and finding and that is about it.

I used to live in Monroe, MI, and remember the mayflies well. Hang in there.
Dang, Mik! So that's what mayflies look like (a little smaller than Canadian mosquitoes!) I can imagine how much of a pain they are. It could be a toss up between your mayflies and our love bugs- we got them late this year and they were the worst I've seen in a LONG time! Tis the season for the little buggers to mate- get stuck together :-0 and we'll suffer the little younguns in September OH YAY! :-D God Bless you Mik. Oh, and that mess in Vancouver never would have happened if the Leafs had have won. Sigh, maybe some day...
