A sure sign of summer on the lake... MAYFLIES... they come around every early summer for about 3-4 weeks and make life generally miserable for people because they are completely harmless but there are millions of them around here. They live only 24 hours because they have no digestive system. But supposedly are good for the water and eco-system. Generally, all they do is be born, reproduce, and then croak... what a life, huh? lol... Hope y'all have a good week...

Oh yuck Mik! Looks like love bugs down here twice a year. Spring, they come together- literally (pairs fly around attatched!)then in fall- YAY we have millions more! Our cars and trucks all look like they have black beards for all the swarms they drive through- and their guts contain acid which eats car paint! I wouldn't want may flies either! God Bless and I hope you're all doing well Mik!
GGGRRROOOOSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! YUCK!!! HOW CREEPY!! I'd stay in all month long!! We get June Bugs which are pretty creepy too, but there's only a few, and you can know them off your window screen and they STAY down.
